Senior Consultant (m/f/d) - Focus on Maintenance

Your mission
  • Conduct maintenance analysis/audits including time-on-tools productivity studies, supervisor and planner studies, work order management and related process mapping, CMMS and budget data analysis, organizational structure evaluation, and key stakeholder interviews and workshops (including use of IT & Management Systems)
  • Identify and quantify maintenance efficiency and productivity improvement opportunities and the key levers and implementation actions required to achieve them
  • Work with stakeholders to develop maintenance workstream improvement plans, attain agreement on methods and quantified milestones/goals, and establish responsibility for execution
  • Manage the maintenance workstream of a project during implementation
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops, including training and coaching
  • Coach craft tradespeople, maintenance supervisors, managers, and planners in the supervision and execution of efficient and effective maintenance
  • Prepare and manage status meetings and reports
  • Understand the maintenance work process to minimize cost and maximize safety and productivity
Your profile
  • STEM or economic degree or equivalent experience in asset-intensive industries
  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a maintenance consultant and/or in a maintenance role in an asset-intensive industry company (e.g., oil and gas, petrochemicals, metals and mining, paper, utilities, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of performance drivers in production and maintenance, preferably in a chemical related industry
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, reliability and condition monitoring, predictive/preventative maintenance, and maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Proven ability to quickly penetrate complex issues and to develop practical solutions
  • SAP-PM or other CMMS experience is highly beneficial
  • Able to communicate at ease with all stakeholders
  • Hands-on mentality paired with professional and engaging presentation skills
  • Excellent fluency in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Excellent MS-Office skills; ERP or special system knowledge skills a plus
  • Willingness to travel within North America
