Project Manager (m/f/d) - Focus on Maintenance in Asset-Intensive Industries

Your mission
  • Manage all aspects of complex maintenance and reliability improvement projects, including client relations, project planning and tracking, leadership and personnel management, and project administration including scheduling, reporting, and invoicing
  • Lead maintenance & reliability analysis/audits including time-on-tools productivity studies, supervisor and planner studies, work order management and related process mapping, CMMS and budget data analysis, organizational structure evaluation, and key stakeholder interviews and workshops (including use of IT & Management Systems)
  • Lead development of comprehensive analysis reports and project plans consisting of multiple workstreams to achieve quantified maintenance improvement targets, including the key levers and implementation actions required to achieve them
  • Design and manage implementation programs including the establishment of quantitative and qualitative targets and project milestones to achieve agreed performance objectives
  • Track and measure performance improvements, including creating and briefing reports
  • Steer and mentor clients through the implementation and change management process and manage scope and expectations
  • Identify and develop proposals for more work with existing and new clients
  • Dynamic leadership of the consulting team executing analyses and projects
Your profile
  • STEM or economic degree or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a project manager in maintenance consulting and/or in a maintenance role in an asset-intensive industry company (e.g., oil and gas, petrochemicals, metals and mining, paper, utilities, etc.)
  • Excellent project management abilities. Can plan, schedule, execute, track, and administer project in a diligent, method-based approach without assistance
  • Excellent knowledge of performance drivers in production, maintenance and turnaround, preferably in a chemical related industry
  • Experience in mechanical maintenance, reliability and condition monitoring, predictive/preventative maintenance, and maintenance systems (CMMS)
  • Hands-on mentality paired with a professional, approachable, and engaging demeanor
  • Proven ability to assist clients through implementation projects in a goal-oriented manner and to communicate with all stakeholders
  • Excellent fluency in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Maintenance certification such as CMRP a plus
  • Excellent MS-Office skills; ERP or special system knowledge skills a plus
  • Willingness to travel within North America
